We learned about Summerhill Resorts from friends and took a drive to check out Waterways on Rideau Lake. We instantly fell in love with the resort and the staff were friendly and helpful and so were the other families we met. All of the many questions we had about buying our first vacation home were professionally answered and what we found refreshing was that there was no pressure to make a decision and no high pressure selling. We are so excited and can’t wait until our Resort Cottage is ready this summer and we look forward to drinking coffee on our deck and enjoying happy times in our weekend escape.

When we had decided that we wanted to have a secondary home on the lake, my family and I toured a couple of different campground/resorts in the area we wanted to be in, Big Rideau Lake. To be completely honest, our choice was an easy one after our visits. The folks at Summerhilll Resorts/ Waterways RV Resort were fantastic. They toured us around the property, let us speak with other residents, were quite open about their policies and what we could expect should we decide to purchase with them. It really felt like a fantastic family atmosphere. We had a specific type of resort cottage in mind and when we approached their management with what we were looking for, they sourced it and had pricing to us within days. They were very accommodating and even though we were looking in the middle of the season, they were able to get the cottage and have it setup for us to enjoy within a month. We are now counting down the days until the season begins. I would highly recommend Summerhill/Waterways to anyone and have even started passing them along to my friends and family!

I have been working with group at Summerhill for the last few weeks. I am extremely impressed by the sales and management team. Austin is an extremely knowledgeable sales representative who spends the time to make sure he helps you find the right vacation home. The entire team had been very welcoming. Our tour of the grounds allowed us the opportunity to meet some of the current residents. Everyone has been friendly and has shown us a great sense of community. I would recommend Summerhill Resorts to anybody looking at buying a new trailer or looking for a new place to call home for the summer. Our friends bought in the park and their option means a lot to us, so we went up to visit and met with Austin. I can honestly say that I do not deal well with sales reps as I get my back up if I feel pressured, with Austin, there was never a moment of feeling like he was “just trying to make the sale”. He was very chill and gave us all of the information we needed, took us on a tour through a bunch of units and even provided a few different options (again, never upselling anything). We put a deposit on a lot right away and made our decision as to which model we wanted within a few days. Since then, our parents and another friend have purchased a model in the same park. I am so looking forward to next summer when we will be able to move into our new trailer and enjoy what Cedar Valley Resort will have to offer. You will not be disappointed – go check them out.

When we first found our lot at Cedar Valley Resort we fell in love immediately. When we heard it had been sold to Summerhill Resorts we were a bit apprehensive at first, but after talking with Austin and learning of the plans for the resort we were immediately intrigued. We did take some time to look around and weighed the pros and cons of leaving or staying and after more dialogue and seeing the virtual presentation for the future upgrades of the Resort, seeing our Resort Cottage and absolutely in love with our lot it was a no brainer for us to buy and stay at Cedar Valley Resort. We are thrilled with our decision and we are extremely excited to be apart of the SummerHill/Cedar Valley Resort family. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy a Resort Cottage. We have so much positive to say about Len, he went out of his way to help me and my husband to find our new get away trailer! We’re not the easiest to deal with, I won’t lie, but he understood us and our needs!! He worked with us on a budget for the trailer and helped get us a fantastic deal on trading in our older model!!
